Olivia Wensley leads investor relations at Outset Ventures, working closely with institutional investors, family offices, and international capital partners to support capital formation and long-term investor relationships across the deep-tech ecosystem. She plays a key role in positioning Outset’s platform with aligned global investors and connecting capital with high-growth technology companies.

Olivia brings experience across venture capital, law, finance, and ecosystem building. She trained and practised as a lawyer, including serving as in-house counsel at Investment Banks in Sydney and Singapore, and private practice in New Zealand.

She has travelled extensively through her work, building an extensive international network of investors, and has supported companies through capital raising and growth stages, including assisting businesses as they prepare for pre-IPO investment. She has also been actively involved in raising capital for venture and growth-stage investment initiatives, working closely with founders, investors, and advisers.

Olivia previously served as Chief Executive of Startup Queenstown Lakes, where she supported founders, startups, and the regional innovation ecosystem through partnerships, programmes, and community-led initiatives.

Based in Queenstown, Olivia enjoys painting and skiing in her free time. She brings a relationship-led, long-term perspective to her work, and enjoys supporting founders and investors to build globally ambitious technology companies from New Zealand.
